The General's Easter Video Message 2018 is Now Available!
THE transformative power of the Cross is at the heart of General André Cox's Easter video message, which is available to watch on his Facebook page (www.facebook.com/generalandrecox) and download from Vimeo (www.vimeo.com/salvationarmyihq/geneaster2018). In a message that has been created for Salvationists and friends to share online and through social media, he speaks about the works of transformation taking place across the world in God's name through The Salvation Army, adding: 'We engage in these works of transformation because we ourselves have lives of victory and strength through the Cross.'
The video message is close-captioned in a variety of languages to make it easy to use internationally. So far, subtitles have been added in more than 16 languages, including translations into Japanese, Georgian, Romanian and Chinese, with more being added as they are made available. It is hoped that this wide selection of languages will make it simple for the video message to be shown in Salvation Army centres and corps (churches) as part of worldwide Easter celebrations.
