The Bible

We believe that the Bible is inspired by God. It is the foundation and authority of our faith and life.
The Bible. One unified story told through a collection of 66 books.
History, poetry, prophecy, letters. The books of the Bible don’t all conform to one style of literature, but they do tell one story; the story of God’s desire for, and relentless pursuit of, a loving and living relationship with his people.
The Bible is not just an old book. Every word of Scripture is living and active, breathed out by God, recorded and preserved by human writers, inspired by the Holy Spirit.
The Bible is the Word of God. God's heart written down for us to see. When we read the Bible, we learn about who our God is, we learn to recognise his voice and we learn more about ourselves as his children.
God’s Word has the power to transform us, to teach and equip us to live well as followers of Jesus.
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
