Equip provides practical online courses and resources to support the mission of The Salvation Army.

Short self-directed courses and instructor-led webinars equip officers, soldiers, employees, leaders and volunteers for mission. Courses are available under four distinct areas of study:

How can I find my username and password?

Check for an email from Theodros.Jeffrey@boothuc.ca (also check your junk/spam inbox). If it cannot be located, email lms.support@boothuc.ca.

How do I get to the login page?

Access your online learning account on the Booth Learning Academy website.

Do my username and password stay the same for every course?

Yes. When you are enrolled in additional courses they will appear in your learning account on the Booth Learning Academy website. Find all your courses on your student Dashboard and My Courses tabs.

I registered for Equip. Why don’t I have access to all the courses?

Equip is a platform, not a programme. Each course must be registered for individually.

Can I register students on their behalf?

Each student must register for themselves. They should be directed to www.salvationarmy.org/ihq/equip.

Are courses available in print?

Email equip@salvationarmy.org to make this request.

How can I view the course pages in a different language?

Use the following steps when using the Google Chrome browser:

  1. Open Google Chrome. Go to your Equip course.
  2. Right-click anywhere on the page and choose ‘Translate’ from the context menu.
    Chrome will detect that the page is in English and try to translate it based on your browser language settings.
  3. A Google Translate popup will open on your screen. Click the three vertical dots (...) and ‘Choose Another language’.
  4. Click on the drop-down arrow. From the list, select the language you want the page to be translated into.
    Click ‘Translate’.

Why haven’t I received my certificate?

Some courses will indicate that further modules will be added. Upon completion of these future modules a certificate will be issued. Badges may be received for completion of the available modules. 

Can I get a diploma upon completion of the Equip courses?

Equip courses are designed to support the mission of The Salvation Army. Certificates of Completion are issued for each course, and this is celebrated and noted territorially. Diplomas are not available.
