The International Literature Programme (ILP) exists to provide quality and affordable Christian resources for Salvation Army territories around the world.

Grants are available for implementing territories requiring support to purchase books or to produce resources locally.

Book grants

Territories can purchase books through ILP at a significant discount, enabling them to make the resources available to local people at a reasonable price.

Grants are available up to the value of £1000.

Project grants

Grants are also available to support territories in creating resources. Eligible projects include:

  • the translation, printing or purchase of literature
  • the encouragement of writer's workshops
  • the production or purchase of music
  • the production of videos for teaching or worship
  • the production of mission focus material

Grants are available up to the value of £5000.

Notes

  • Shipping costs are shared by the territory and the ILP.
  • When submitting an application for printing or translation, two quotes should be provided.
  • Completed translations may be shared with other territories.
  • Once a project has been completed, a digital copy of the material and a photograph of any printed material should be sent to the ILP Coordinator.
  • Any further applications from a territory will not be considered until all current projects have been completed.
