Introduction

The 67th session of the United Nation’s Commission on the Status of Women is taking place from the 6-17th of March 2023. This year’s theme is “Innovation and technological change, and education in the digital age for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls”.

Over these two weeks, Salvation Army representatives from around the world will attend virtual and in-person meetings on social and moral issues relating to the central theme of women and technology, organised by international experts.

The Salvation Army is participating in three parallel events to be viewed by the attendees of the Commission on the Status of Women. These events will be hosted by The International Social Justice Girls Group, The International Women’s Social Justice Group, & ISJC Director Colonel Ian Swan.
