Significant progress has been made with 97 per cent world population living within reach of a mobile cellular signal. However, there is still much progress to be made, especially in developing countries where necessary infrastructure like roads, information and communication technologies, sanitation, electrical power and water remains scarce.
The crisis has digitalised the way businesses run and how people access resources such as education, essential goods, and healthcare. As schools and businesses continue to incorporate virtual engagement, everyone everywhere must have access to crucial information and resources.
