'As women weep, as they do now, I'll fight; while little children go hungry, as they do now, I'll fight ...
While there is a poor lost girl upon the streets, while there remains one dark soul without the light of God, I'll fight'
William Booth, Founder of The Salvation Army

The struggle for social justice is as real today as it has ever been.

The call to go and do something, to fight for the one dark soul, continues to resonate in ministry and missional work.

Reflections on Justice is a daily devotional written by Salvation Army women who are engaged in social justice and action to positively impact the world. Each day contains Scripture, reflective reading, prayer and a challenge to go and do something.

    You're invited!

With the release of Reflections on Justice, International Women's Ministries is launching its first ever global reading event, taking place from 1st November to 1st December. We want you to be part of it!

    Why November?

The month of November is of great importance to justice-seeking women as it sees the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women (25 November), followed by the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence.

This daily reading plan will prepare our hearts and minds for these critical dates with Scripture, prayer and challenge. Take this opportunity to gather family, friends and staff teams to read together, either in person or on the Bible App by YouVersion.
