Pray for Kenya East Territory

Praise points:

We are grateful to God for a successful five-day territorial prayer and fasting event, which took place at the beginning of this year. The event brought a sense of rejuvenation and commitment. Salvationists were re-energised spiritually, psychologically, emotionally and physically for the service of God. We have heard powerful personal testimonies of spiritual deliverance and newfound freedom in Christ, of emotional breakthrough and reconciliation among estranged families and of spiritual transformation, physical healing and renewed faith in God.

Prayer requests:

• We pray for God’s Spirit to lead us as a territory, as we play our part in empowering people, enhancing mission impact and establishing an enduring legacy in response to the General’s call in the global strategic framework.
• We pray that the spirit of soul winning in all programmes - in youth and children ministries, men's ministries, women's ministries, social, community and projects - will continue to be our priority.
• We pray for spiritual awakening, renewal and deeper commitment to God’s will of all Salvationists in the territory. We seek God’s guidance, fresh anointing and spiritual growth, that we may rise to new and greater heights in faith and service in 2025 and beyond.
• We pray that all the events and activities scheduled to take place this year in our corps, institutions, commands, in different communities, including all territorial appeals, will bring glory and honour to God.
• We pray for the success of all command reviews which are scheduled to begin from March 2025, that God will grant abundant grace and favour to our territorial leaders and to all those who will be involved during the review exercise.
• We pray for the well-being and good health of all active and retired officers, all employees and all Salvationists in our territory.
• We pray for peace, stability, harmony and unity in our nation of Kenya. May God inspire our national leaders and all citizens to love and support one another so that we may realise a healthy and a caring nation.

Pray for USA Southern Territory

Praise points:

• Praise God for the impactful territorial men officers’ retreat held in January 2025. More than 250 men gathered for worship and the Word.
• Praise God for the resurgence in attendance in adult and youth ministries.
• Praise God for each man and woman answering God’s call to officership in The Salvation Army.

Prayer requests:

• Please pray for impactful and safe upcoming summer camp ministries in all eight divisions.
• Please pray for our upcoming commissioning and ordination in June with the Chief of the Staff and Commissioner Shelley Hill. Our theme is Serving Like Jesus.
• Please pray for our upcoming Bible conference in August with the General and Commissioner Bronwyn Buckingham. Our theme is Kingdom Living… Awaken Hope.
• Please pray for spiritual strength for new divisional leaders across the territory.
• Please pray for the great awakening sweeping across the territory through our youth.

Pray for Spain and Portugal Territory

We praise God for:

• The way he strengthens and helps us in all the challenges we face as a territory.
• Allowing us to begin our governance board and for the impact it will have on the development and objectives of the territory.
• The people he is calling to serve as officers in both Spain and Portugal.
• The increase in membership reported by the corps.
• His faithfulness and for his mercy that remains with us.

Prayer requests:

• We pray for the successful development of the boards, councils and committees throughout 2025.
• We pray for the gathering planned for the people interested in becoming officers, that God may confirm his calling in the life of every participant, and that every detail of the event may be guided by the Lord.
• We pray for the Territorial Institute of Music and Arts, that it may be of great blessing to each participant and that our musicians may feel a strong desire to evangelise through music and grow in their spiritual lives.
• We pray for the summer camps for children in both countries and for our young people taking part in EYE (European Youth Event), that God may pour out abundant blessings.
• We pray for the spiritual life and emotional well-being of our officers, soldiers, volunteers and employees.
• We pray for the successful development of the various training programmes taking place this year, including soldier training, women’s ministries local leaders training, ongoing education, awareness programmes and others.
• We pray for success in the different fundraising campaigns and for steady progress towards greater self-sustainability in the appointments.
• We pray for wisdom, strength and the anointing of the Holy Spirit upon territorial leadership.
• We pray for the effective impact of The Salvation Army's mission in social programmes, food and clothing distribution, breakfasts for the homeless and lunches for people in poverty.

Pray for India Eastern Territory

Prayer requests:

• In 2025, the India Eastern Territory’s theme is Transformed into Christlikeness, based on 2 Corinthians 3:18. Pray that Salvationists and officers of the territory will grow in deeper relationship with Christ.
• Pray for the success of the youth congress which will take place in October at Darlawn.
• Pray that the seven cadets currently in the Keepers of the Covenant Session will complete their training well. Pray for the 12 candidates for the Proclaimers of Transformation Session, that they will complete the candidates course and be well prepared for becoming cadets.
• Pray for the five year review of 20 lieutenants (Messengers of the Kingdom Session) which will be held on 9 May and rank recognition service programme on 11 May.
• Pray for 18 newly commissioned officers in the Champions of the Mission Session, for their new appointments.
• From 21 – 23 May 2025, the territory hosted a Brengle Institute for 20 officers. As these officers return to their appointments after this time of teaching and retreat, we pray they will return with a fresh energy and renewed desire to see the Spirit transform lives.
• Pray for the extension of evangelism and disciple-making ministries among other faith communities and outreach mission areas.
• Pray for the ongoing effectiveness of the HIV/AIDS prevention programme for youth and children led by Community Health Action Network.
• We give thanks for the 10 prayer halls, five commanding officers quarters and three self-support buildings that were opened during the year 2024.
• We give thanks that the Territorial Womens Ministries team has started a tailoring production centre from January 2025.
• We give thanks to God for the advancement of our ministries and for enrolling new members.
