5 March - 17 April
Lent, the period leading up to Easter, gives us the opportunity to remember Jesus’ life, death and resurrection.
To look with wonder and awe at his life on earth and to sit with the discomfort of his sacrifice, so when it comes to Easter morning, we are ready to rejoice in the Resurrection.
In Psalm 107:1-2 we read these words: ‘Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story – those he redeemed from the hand of the foe.’
This Lent, we invite you to adopt a simple rhythm of gratitude, to acknowledge and reflect on the goodness of God. With an intentional practice for each day, we hope you will cultivate a grateful heart and a rhythm that will last when Lent is over.
‘Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story – those he redeemed from the hand of the foe.’ (Psalm 107:1-2 NIV)
