On October 24, 2013, The Salvation Army Grand Rapids Women’s Auxiliary hosted its Fall Fashion Show at Watermark Country Club. The show featured fashions from Chico’s and make-up from The Body Shop, and was hosted by Eva Aguirre Cooper, Community Affairs Director at WOOD TV8. Women’s Auxiliary members Sally Blevins, Mary Cook, Dine Field, Maribeth Glaub, Gayle Holmquist, Jean Koorndyk and Carol Wittkowski modeled the stylish clothing, jackets, jewelry and make-up.  All funds raised from the event will go toward The Salvation Army programs and services.  The Women’s Auxiliary exists to promote the purposes of The Salvation Army, to undertake special fund-raising projects and to provide volunteer workers.
