Did you know that nearly six thousand volunteers have logged over 26,000 hours with The Salvation Army in Kent County already this year? Now it's your turn - as we look to the Grand Rapids community to assist us with bell ringing and the Angel Tree Toy Drive.

Bell Ringing
November 14 - December 24

Volunteers (individuals, families, youth groups, service clubs and companies) are needed to help ring bells at our Red Kettles throughout the community during the Christmas season to help us meet our goal of $1.66 million.

Angel Tree Toy Drive
December 11 - December 18

Volunteers (individuals, families, youth groups, service clubs and companies) are needed to help us with a variety of assignments as we anticipate providing Christmas gifts to nearly 6,000 children in Kent County.

Volunteers are needed to help to unload, inventory and sort donated toys and gifts.

Angel Tree Set-up
December 15 and 17

Volunteers are needed to help set up tables, unload toys and sort gifts by age and gender.

Angel Tree Distribution
December 16 and 18

Volunteers are needed to help us distribute toys and food to families in need at Christmas. Volunteers help act as table hosts, assistant shoppers, toy sorters and greeters.
