The Salvation Army and Feed the Children Take a Stand Against Hunger
On Friday, August 1, The Salvation Army, Feed the Children and Teleperformance provided a 25 pound box of food and a 10 pound box of basic essentials to 400 Grand Rapids area families in need.
The Grand Rapids event is one of many that Teleperformance and Feed the Children have planned across the country, ensuring that thousands of kids can just be kids this summer instead of worrying about having enough to eat. The organization’s fleet of 40 semis carries meals and household necessities all over the United States on the Americans Feeding Americans caravan.
The Salvation Army appreciates the generosity of its partners and would like to thank Feed the Children and Teleperformance for helping our neighbors at their point of deepest need.
