After School Program Enrichment Volunteer

Date: Thursdays and Fridays from 5:20pm – 5:50pm or from 5:55pm – 6:25pm

Location:  The Fulton Heights Corps Community Center, 1235 Fulton Street East in Grand Rapids

Description: Volunteers are needed to use their skills and expertise to teach special enrichment classes, such as music, sports, arts and crafts, etc. to students in our after school program.

Child Care Volunteers

Date: Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Location: The Salvation Army Divisional Headquarters, 1215 Fulton Street East, Grand Rapids

Description: Help our staff watch babies while our teen parent program meets

Kroc Kroc Kids Club Volunteers

Date: Fridays from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. plus one additional night each week

Location: The Salvation Army Kroc Center, 2500 S. Division Ave., Grand Rapids, MI 49507

Description: Serve as chaperones, team leaders, worship team members, and drama team members.

Schools of Hope Program Volunteers

Date: One evening each week, Monday through Thursday from 4:30pm to 5:15pm

Location: The Salvation Army Kroc Center, 2500 S. Division Ave., Grand Rapids, MI 49507

Description: Listen to children in grades 1-3 read to help improve their reading levels
