Double Your Donation

On Christmas Eve our faithful Grand Rapids Advisory Board is matching up to $50,000 received in donations. They’re encouraging the people of Kent County to “Give Till it Helps” by placing their donation into a red kettle, donating on line or by sending a check to The Salvation Army noting the 12/24 match.

As you are dashing about making your final Christmas preparations Christmas Eve, please listen for those bells and consider helping our neighbors in need through your generous donation and help us achieve the full match from our Advisory Board.

Your donation may provide a family with a loaf of bread and some emergency food provisions; a bowl of soup and assistance given with words of encouragement for someone who couldn’t decide whether to fill a much-needed prescription or pay their heating bill; or the counseling and comfort of an anxious expectant teen, still yet a child, who faces the arrival of their own child.

To double your blessing, please donate to any of our red kettles on Tuesday, December 24th. If secure on-line giving is more convenient, please visit us on December 24th and make your donation at: http://www.onlineredkettle.org/kentcounty. If writing a check is preferable, please make your check payable to: The Salvation Army with a designation of “Kent County 12/24” in the memo portion and mail your donation to: The Salvation Army, PO Box 2603, Grand Rapids, MI  49501-2603.

As we count our many blessings this holiday season, we give thanks for the generosity of our kind donors who continue to “Give Till It Helps”.  The Salvation Army wishes you and your loved ones a blessed and joyous Christmas.
