Behavioral Health Dirctor - Social Services (Full-Time)

The Behavioral Health Director is responsible for the maximum safety, quality, efficiency, and economy of all clinical and treatment services provided by The Salvation Army in Kent County, Michigan.  Programs include, but are not limited to: Turning Point Programs (TPP) substance use disorder intensive stabilization and sub-acute detox, the Housing Assessment Program (HAP), and maternal health programs.  The Behavioral Health Director will serve in a consultative role with other Program Directors regarding mental health issues amongst substance users and those with co-occurring mental health disorders, particularly regarding risk review, diagnosis, and integration of care.  Daily work may include both the provision and coordination of individual and group therapies.  The Behavioral Health Director is responsible for supervision of therapists as well as relevant education and training of therapeutic and direct care staff in relevant clinical treatment areas.
