Forget Not II

It’s Not Too Late!

There’s still time to make your life-changing year-end tax deductible gift. Won’t you please consider making an end-of-year donation to feed a hungry child, clothe a broken soul, bring pre-natal care and compassion to an expectant mother or secure shelter for a struggling family?

Please visit us on-line no later than December 31st to make your secure 2013 donation at: http://www.onlineredkettle.org/kentcounty. If writing a check is preferable, please make your check payable to: The Salvation Army and mail it to: The Salvation Army, PO Box 2603, Grand Rapids, MI  49501-2603 – postmarked no later than December 31, 2013.

There are also special tax benefits available for year-end planned gift donations. IRA direct rollovers expire on December 31, 2013, which counts toward minimum distribution with no tax liability. You can also receive full charitable donations for stock gifts and avoid capital gains tax liability. To learn more information about planned giving, including gift annuities, please contact Richard Dorsey, Divisional Planned Giving Director, at 616.459.3433 ext: 1188, and remember to consult your financial adviser.

We give thanks for those who “Give Till It Helps”.
