Reading is a fun and beneficial part of growing up as a child. The Salvation Army Action Group and our generous event partner Peter C. and Emajean Cook Foundation celebrates the third annual Army of Readers event to promote reading in Grand Rapids area schools. Volunteers from around the community will visit over 50 Grand Rapids classrooms on April 25 to provide a fun-filled reading activity to over 1200 students.
