Nearly 25 individuals were given a sneak-preview of The Salvation Army’s ”Give Till It Helps” 2013 Red Kettle Christmas Campaign at Sundance Grill in Grand Rapids on Wednesday. The media portion of the campaign, which will break on Friday, November 15, includes a billboard campaign, a radio campaign and an agressive Facebook social media campaign. Grey Matter Group, a strategicic marketing communications firm from Grand Rapids and Lambert Edwards & Associates, a Grand Rapids-based public relations firm assisted The Salvation Army in the creation and the execution of the campaign.  In addition to a traditional Red Kettle Kick-off at the Lake Michigan Family Fare in Grand Rapids on November 15, a free evening concert event is planned for Baker Book House on East Paris Avenue SE in Grand Rapids the same evening. Featured musicians will include Ralston Bowles, Bennett and The Salvation Army Brass Band.
