So when they had dined, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, lovest thou Me more than these?” He said unto Him, “Yea, Lord; Thou knowest that I love Thee.” He said unto him, “Feed My sheep.” John 21:15

The Salvation Army food pantry is open Monday – Friday to anyone in the greater Grand Rapids area who is in need of emergency food assistance. In addition to receiving a supply of food items, clients are informed of other possible benefits to help them in the future. The Salvation Army food pantry also works closely with local farmers markets to ensure access to local produce.

In addition to donations, the food pantry purchases food from Feeding America of West Michigan. Feeding America is a valuable resource for the food pantry as food can be ourchased for fourteen cents a pound, on average. TSA’s partnership with Feeding America demonstrates good stewardship of resources and community partnership. If you or someone you know needs food assistance, please contact us at 616.459.9468 or visit BoothFamilyServices.org.
