EDS Canteen at work

Disaster preparedness is important for your home, neighborhood school, work place and your community. A disaster can strike at any moment and without warning. Knowing how best to respond and how you could serve when your community is faced with a tremendous disaster could make all the difference to you, your family and community.

The Salvation Army is offering an Introduction to Emergency Disaster Services training class on Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at its EDS office at 1632 Linden Grand Rapids, MI 49519. Snacks, beverages, and lunch will be provided. If becoming a Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Service volunteer may be of interest to you, then you will definitely want to attend this course.

To register, please contact Chris Striebel, Divisional Emergency Disaster Services Assistant Director, at 616.459.3433 ext. 1512 or via email at Chris_Striebel@usc.salvationarmy.org
