National Donut Day Volunteers
Schedule: Friday, June 6 from 9am to 12:30pm, and from 12:30pm to 4pm
Location: Volunteers will meet at Cornerstone University, located at 300 East Beltline Ave NE Grand Rapids, 49525, then carpool to various locations throughout the Grand Rapids area
Supervisor: Angela DeVries, Assistant Divisional Development Director
Description: Join The Salvation Army Action Group of young professionals as we travel throughout the community distributing Krispy Kreme doughnuts to those in need and those in the community who could use a little appreciation. We need your help in personally delivering donuts and bringing a smile to those who make our community what it is today. Volunteers will meet at Cornerstone University and carpool to visit over 40 Donut Day locations, including the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans. A lunch will be provided to all volunteers. We are running two volunteer shifts, one from 9am to 12:30pm, and the second from 12:30pm to 4:00pm.
