The Salvation Army of Muskegon will be hosting a free public concert on Saturday, February 21 featuring The Salvation Army Chicago Staff Band under the direction of director/composer Bill Himes. The concert will take place at Reeths-Puffer Rocket Center, located at 1545 North Roberts Road in Muskegon. The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. and doors open at 6:30 p.m. for seating.

The Chicago Staff Band is The Salvation Army’s principal concert band in the Midwest. Its innovative music and quality performances are the result of the efforts of its band members who freely volunteer their hours of service. Founded in 1907, the band has performed extensively throughout the United States as well as on concert tours throughout the world.
