Under mostly sunny skies and a temperature in the mid-seventies, volunteers, board members and media celebrities handed-out 10,832 scoops of Denali Flavors Moose Tracks ice cream, courtesy of Dean’s Country Fresh. For each of the first 10,000 scoops eaten, Denali donated $1.00 to The Salvation Army of Grand Rapids to support vital programs and services that directly benefit the local community. The event was held at Rosa Parks Circle in downtown Grand Rapids which quickly turned the venue into a giant community ice cream social.
