The Salvation Army signs letter to member states to urgently end child immigration detention

Almost 50 civil society organisations and UN agencies, including The Salvation Army, EU Affairs Office, last week released a joint statement asking EU member states to work towards ending child immigration detention both in Europe and worldwide. The statement was released ahead of the 2017 European Forum on the Rights of the Child, which focussed on children deprived of liberty and alternatives to detention.
