Homelessness amongst mobile citizens...
Serious allegations have been levelled at the UK as FEANTSA have complained officially to the EU for the UK’s practice of citing homelessness as a breaking of the EU Directive for freedom of movement, even systematically using the police and home office officials to arrest and detain and expel homeless EU citizens and using NGO mapping of the homeless to strategically target them. It is hoped to stop this practice before other EU countries adopt it. This raises all sorts of questions with abuse of human rights, misuse of information and unfair practice. We even have to ask ourselves are we The Salvation Army unwittingly supporting this practice.
