Investing in children, breaking the cycle of poverty – Invitation to event in Budapest
by Catherine MALLET
Eurodiaconia invites The Salvation Army to its next Marginalisation and Exclusion Network which will focus on investing in children, breaking the cycle of poverty. The aim of the meeting is to facilitate members’ exchanges on supporting children and families at risk and identify policies and practices contributing to child well-being through a better access to quality and affordable services, adequate resources and better participation for children. The meeting will include two study visits: one to the Refugee Mission of the Reformed Church of Hungary (tbc) and the other one to the foster parents’ network of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hungary on 23-24 March.
