‘In times of crisis, funding cuts to health , housing, social , employment and education services are unavoidable’ This is an example of one of the ten myths that are debunked in this short  new publication by Social Platform. The document aims to provide concise but evidence based arguments to help social service providers and social NGOs defend and promote social investment. The EU Affairs Office believes that this document can also be helpful for strengthening The Salvation Army’s advocacy work across Europe. The document covers common myths about a number of popular issues such as migration, the ageing population, austerity and economic growth.
