GLO.ACT to mark the EU anti-trafficking Day

This latest special edition newsletter of GLO.ACT by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), is designed to mark the EU Anti- Trafficking Day, on 18 October 2017. This edition aims to introduce and update you on one of the EU’s key initiatives with UNODC - GLO.ACT. It hosts an interview of EU Anti-Trafficking Coordinator, Dr. Myria Vassiliadou.
GLO.ACT stands for Global Action and is a €11 million joint initiative between the European Union (EU) and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) aimed at addressing the trafficking in persons and the smuggling of migrants. GLO.ACT is a project being delivered by UNODC together with the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
