Did you know?
Today is the last day of CSW60 - the 2016 session of the Commission on the Status of
Women. The 61st session officially begins tonight and will meet next year for another two
weeks of negotiation around global women's empowerment.

Devotional
"So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them."

In the beginning God created us both female and male, and both female and male were created in God's own image, and both female and male were commanded to subdue and rule the Earth. When the Lord created this universe he made it good and put male and female in charge of it together. Together we must work to bring God's good kingdom to a world that has now fallen. Together we must raise our voices against the bruises, breaks and open wounds in God's world. Let us fight for this world, let us fight for each other: the Lord fights for us.
Lord, bind us together both male and female and send us out in your spirit to bear your own image to this broken world. Amen.
