A UNIQUE meeting of The Salvation Army's International Doctrine Council followed the International Theology and Ethics Symposium at Sunbury Court near London. All members of the Doctrine Council, including the five corresponding members who do not normally join with the other members in person, met for three days from 11-13 October in order to review the symposium and continue work on a number of ongoing agenda items.

Three members – former secretary to the council Colonel Brian Tuck (Southern Africa), Major Kapela Ntoya (Salvation Army Leadership Training College of Africa) and Major P. John William (India Central) – were thanked for their valuable contributions as they conclude their term as members in December 2010. The two photographs show the International Doctrine Council, and the corresponding members with Colonel Brian Tuck, who has served as their primary liaison with the full council.
